What Happens At a Power of 100 Event?

Members connect with other generous women at a social hour that will be held from 5:45 - 6:45 pm. A cash bar (with alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices) will be available. We will have a donation jar to help defray some of the costs involved with holding the event, however much of the expenses are donated by members and local community volunteers. Be sure to bring your checkbook!

The Power of 100 event program will start promptly at 7 pm and last about an hour. (Our June 2021 event will likely be about 90 minutes since we have a lot to catch up on! Three (3) non-profit organizations will give a 7-minute presentation. Members present at the event will vote for their choice to win the "Impact Award" of $10,000+.

Votes are tallied with the majority non-profit being the winner. Please note that each event is for committed members only, and not open to the general public.

Once the "Impact Award" winner is announced, the checkout process begins. Each member will write their $100 check to the "Impact Award-winning" charity, and "check out" upon leaving. Members who want to give more may choose to increase their gift to the winning non-profit and/or bestow an additional monetary gift(s) to one of the remai
